The Lirot Association was founded in 2006 with one main goal – to prevent blindness, at two key intersections:
At the onset of a disease, which can easily progress to vision loss; or in any healthy, sighted person,
by promoting research, creating new, up-to-date and reliable knowledge and raising awareness, especially among at-risk populations, such as children and seniors,
while maintaining the values of: respect, excellence, collaboration, transparency, equality, and compassion.
